We’re excited to share an interesting case from our practice. This spring, the Horizon-Avia team organized a highly complex shipment of temperature-sensitive vaccines. The vaccines were transported from Japan in an isothermal container, with the required temperature regime strictly maintained throughout the journey.
Transporting pharmaceuticals, including live vaccines, is one of the most responsible logistics tasks you can imagine. It’s critical to avoid overheating or freezing—both during the flight and customs procedures—because compromised vaccines can’t be restored and must be discarded. To stay safe, we used special sensors and reserve coolants to monitor the necessary temperature range of +2°C to +8°C. Since the sealed thermal container maintains the set parameters for only a few hours, precise timing was essential. And we executed it flawlessly, making sure our client received these vital vaccines on time and in perfect condition.
